Spring Carnival

Here are a few shots from our elementary school's Spring Carnival. This was a borrowed tent and I now have a white one, which looks a lot better:)!

I'm back!!!!!!!! Yes, it's been a little over 2 months since I've updated this blog...WOW! I guess that just speaks to how busy I've been though. My eyes literally hurt from all the sessions I've been editing lately - it's good though!

The boys have been on summer vacation for a full week now, so obviously that leaves me even less free time to get to this blog and other things that seem to fall by the waste side, when the boys are home. I think about updating this all the time but time gets away from me and when I have to prioritize this seems to fall towards the bottom of the list.

Anyway, I will try and post some sessions - starting with the oldest ones.

I hope everyone is having a SUPER SUMMER!

Loves,
Dana

THE SLIDESHOW IS BELOW THIS ENTRY!

It has occurred to me, after receiving a few different e-mails, that everyone might not be aware that the below "collage" is actually a sideshow. When you first look at it it appears to be just a collage of photographs but if you give it about 30 seconds it will start scrolling through and there are about 50 images in all - much more than the 16 or so you first see displayed. I hope that helps, as many of you have asked what they are doing wrong and why they can't they see the slide show, ha!

On another quick note I just photographed my first wedding, so be looking for those images soon too. And...I've been asked to be the official photographer for our annual Spring Carnival at school, so that will be next Friday, and I'm hoping a great opportunity to market myself! Wish me luck.

SPRING BREAK!

Well, Spring is here and I couldn't be happier! My family and I leave on our first cruise this Sunday - going to the Bahamas. Before that though I have my first wedding scheduled, for Saturday, at The Lightener Museum in St. Augustine. I'm super excited but a bit nervous too.

I'm looking at some studio space and hoping that all works out. It's an older building with lots of character and potential but it is in desperate need of some TLC. I'm totally up for the challenge though, so please keep your fingers crossed for me!
Until next time...here are some Easter shots. Oh, and my new website WILL be up and running next week - I PROMISE!
Love to all near and far,
Dana

A little cutie!

Well, I recently took some shots on a nearby railroad track - they turned out so sweet! Little did I know shooting on (working) rail roads is a FEDERAL OFFENSE - OOPS! I just happened to stumble upon that little tid bit of information while I was reading the other day. Thank goodness nobody stopped me! And I'm almost sure that when I was walking (little pink chair in tow) I passed a policeman on the road - he should have known where I was going, but he didn't double back to tell me not to, so...

Anyway, here's a few from that session.
